Each time a volunteer hands out a pillowcase, a story is born. The birth of that story is usually transmitted to Cindy, who works diligently to tell all of us about it. As Cindy and Katie took their recent road trip down the east coast, they met wonderful coordinators and heard many stories about how ConKerr volunteers are making a difference for ill children and their families. They blogged about it (in beautiful prose, thank you Katie) and we hope you followed their trip. As they returned to the “real” world, we kept thinking there must be a better way to share all these experiences with each and every one of you, not just from this trip, but all the time.

ConKerr Cancer Connections is how we connect our community. We will use this space, as well as all of our new social media sites, to tell you what is happening and encourage conversations. You will hear stories and get to know people across the ConKerr Cancer community. We will have a forum for our coordinators where they can ask questions and share answers with each other. We would love to hear your suggestions for other ways we can connect.
